A spacious terrace with barbecue promises idyllic summer evenings. Just a few meters from the apartment is the beautiful Sutmiholjska bay, where swimming in the clear sea is a real experience.

The apartment is located roughly in the middle of the island of Mljet, making it easy to explore. The Mljet National Park is only about 10 km away and the village of Saplunara with its sandy beaches is only about 20 km away. The closest village is Babino Polje, from where you can reach the Odysseus Cave.

We had a lovely stay at the house of Petar (the host), who is a very kind person. He invited us two times for a drink or some dinner, which was both so tasty and cozy! This was combined with a magical location, looking over the sea and surrounded by many stars at night. We have to say that it is not an amazing deal price-wise, meaning that it is on the higher side for what you get - an old and small appartement with smelly bathroom and no airconditioning. There is also no connection in and around the house, which to some might be a problem. I personally thought it was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at Petar‘s place to the fullest. He is the sweetest person you‘ll ever meet. He instantly invited us to drink some coffee on his balcony and gave us great recommendations and tips on what to do on the island. Make sure to check out the restaurant Komarats if you‘re craving some pizza. The appartment was very clean and cozy. There is a ventilator is the room - luckily, as the nights in Mljet in sommer can get quite hot. The house is a 5 minutes walk from the nicest beach and from the balcony of the appartment, you can see the sea. It is very calm and quiet. We thank Petar and his family for the wonderful stay and we would come back again any time! :)

Staying in this apartment was truly enjoyable, mainly due to the beautiful location and the exceptional hospitality of the owner. The apartment is situated in a lovely and secluded spot, just a step away from a peaceful and stunning beach. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and hospitable—a true local—which made our stay even more pleasant. However, a few aspects might affect the comfort of other guests. The apartment is very small, including the bathroom, and is minimally equipped. Without air conditioning, it was quite difficult to sleep. The water flow was very slow, and there is no wardrobe, only a hanger. The balcony is also very small with a tiny table and chairs. Overall, we lacked nothing, and our holiday was excellent. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. However, we do feel that the prices for apartments in Croatia, in general, have become a bit too high for what they offer. Thank you for the pleasant experience!
